![]() ![]() ![]() First there is information on how to make a mod.įor now community made tools are required to create mods. You can also upload mods to Steam Workshop from the Mod Manager, but that will be covered later. So you can subscribe to more mods than you want active at any one time and you can have them downloaded on your computer and ready to go whenever you want them to have an effect in-game. ![]() You can also choose which mods you want active via the checkboxes for each one. This will show all the Workshop items you are subscribed to and the download progress of them. Once you have subscribed to items in the Workshop, when you next load up the game you can see these mods by clicking on the Mod Manager button in the launcher. The tags can be used to filter for mods of different types, so if you just want to find mods that add new units, the Units tag is the one for you. You can browse the Workshop for mods you would like to have in your game and subscribe to them. Since I can't see any post with this problem, I assume I'm an idiot somewhere, but I just can't seem to figure out what/where the problem is.The Rome II Steam Workshop is a directory of user created modifications for the game that can alter many different areas of the game, from simple balance mods to adding new units to changing the graphics in the game. Also I had no issues download items prior to the newest update/DLC At least it takes me to the update page if I click. The weird part is that each time I boot the game it "updates" the game, and it doesn't seem to be a workshop upgrade but a game update. If I remove an workshop item that is already in game, it does disappear so there is a connection between steam and the game, since I play Franchises it needs a connection anyway, but yeah. I have made sure it wasn't due to a filter issue and I also restarted the game many times, yet they just won't show up. ![]() I am not sure if this fits here, I did make a similar post on Planet Zoo's steam, but got no reply, and not gonna lie I am a little confused and slightly agitated so thought I'll try here.īeen downloading lots of different items from the workshop on steam that other people have created, but for some reason it won't show up in the game. ![]()
